I started my career in publishing as an illustrator and graphic artist. Now that my writing career has slowed down, I am rediscovering the joy of making art. Well, sometimes it's joy and sometimes it's frustrating, but the challenge is good for me.
Back in my early art-making days, I worked mostly in black and white, often with a Rapidograph pen, perhaps the most anal of artmaking tools. Now I am tackling watercolor, learning to use color and trying to collaborate with the paint, which has a mind of its own.

Except where indicated, these painting are 4" x 6". Postcard sized. I don't know why I like working that small but I do. $150 each for the postcards. Drop me a note if you're interested in one of the larger ones.
